I’ll be honest with you: I’ve had a career filled with complete failures and some incredible achievements. It took me quite a few years to figure out the context in which and when I can deliver outstanding results and to figure out when to say “This can’t be done or at least I can’t do it”.

Everything I know, every failure & success I’ve had can and will be used to grow your business as long as you are willing to invest. So…

Let’s work together

If you’re convinced I’m the right guy to help take your online business to the next level you have 3 options of working with me: ordering an audit, hiring me on retainer or challenging me.

Request An Audit

I’ve devised one of the most thorough audits on the market (over 1.000 factors to be more specific). I analyze all the factors and put all the bits and pieces of information together to bring you cost-effective, conversion oriented recommendations that you can start implementing the next day.

Retainer Based Consulting

After countless pricing experiments, I’ve decided to work only on a retainer basis. Basically, there is a minimum amount of time that I need to spend monthly in order to be figure out the best ways to grow your business online. We agree on the amount of time spent each month and afterwards we prioritize work to be done, the order of audits and their implementation etc. in an agile manner.

Although you do have the right to cancel anytime, please keep in mind that this is a 3 month minimum commitment if you want to see a positive return on investment. Nothing worthwhile gets done overnight anymore and I’d rather invest my energy in projects that will benefit your business years to come.

Frequently Asked Questions

#1: How Much Do You Charge?

This is the first question that everybody asks, so let’s get it out of the way. I do not have a “one-rate-fits-all” approach, since that would be either prohibitive for startups and some SMEs that I would enjoy working with. Thus, I’ve decided to usually charge hourly rates based on company size.

Micro / Startup

$19hourly
  • Less than 10 employees
  • Less than $2.5m turnover

Small Business

$39hourly
  • Less than 50 employees
  • Less than $15m turnover

Medium Business

$59hourly
  • Less than 250 employees
  • Less than $50m turnover

Enterprise

$149hourly
  • More than 250 employees
  • More than $50m turnover

More answers to questions you might have:

No. I’m a consultant and a Digital Operations Director at my agency.
I’m what you might call a digital nomad. Currently I spend my time between Scotland and Romania, depending on where I’m needed most, but I should be completely location independent in a matter of months. So, if consulting on-site/in-house would be in your benefit and the project is of a larger scale, I’m completely open to relocating.
Most likely no. I like to get “down and dirty” with landing pages & creative campaigns from time to time, but there are many people that I can recommend when it comes to writing your content, designing & coding your landing pages etc. that would be far more efficient than me.

Furthermore, as an actual eCommerce & digital marketing consultant, I always have to stay on top of industry trends, technology and ensure I know the right people in the right places.

In conclusion, I’d rather be working on your overall strategy, devising campaign ideas, testing various tactics, optimizing budgets etc. than writing the perfect tweet or fiddling with that Add to Cart you’d like to be 5px more to the right.

Outside of a request while I’m under retainer for your company – most likely no. Due to the fact that I have to invest a lot of time to understand your business and do a decent amount of research to get a sense of what the best approach would be for your project I’ve decided against the “request a quote” model. But feel free to challenge me instead.
Yes – I would actually prefer that you invest in training your team and I can support the whole process. I consider that my goal as a consultant is achieved when I render myself useless and your business keeps its growth rate, supported by your team’s efforts.
Yes. I do not specialize in this, but I have formed a couple of teams before and I have a talent for spotting talent (it takes one to know one).
Let’s say that you just spent 20-30K to build an online store for your business and your goal is to reach 50.000 monthly uniques by the end of the year without huge investments in PPC. Or you want/need to double your conversion rate. Or you’re planning on opening an online store and you want to see consistent orders starting with the first week. Those might be considered challenges for me. As long as you know how much you’re willing to invest to achieve the objective of the challenge, I will mostly likely take you up on it.
A retainer consists in payment for work to be defined and specified later on. Personally, I start out all projects on a 3 month timeline in which I mostly focus on research, optimization and strategy development. Basically, after a quick audit I will inform you about the time commitment required in the first 3 months and what that will cost.

At the end of the 3 months, we’ll assess the impact my work and recommendations (yes – you will see consistent improvements in the course of these 3 months) had on your online presence and from there we define an optimal framework on which to continue work.

Yes – I usually develop custom performance dashboards and take care of reports (including web analytics) to make sure everything is on the right track.
Depending on your objectives and other details of our consulting agreement, I can offer various money back guarantees.
No. I can guarantee an increase in organic traffic, but I cannot guarantee keyword specific positions. I think it’s important to state that no true professional in the SEO industry will promise #1 rankings.
It just makes me laugh and I didn’t want to go with the a cliché pose. As I dislike projecting an image that is different from who I am (even though I may lose from time to time because of this decision). Anyone working with me should accept the fact that I’m somewhat eccentric from time to time and extremely sarcastic.
Sorry for that – it’s important for me to be able to track which questions are clicked more often (thus more relevant) and heatmaps didn’t help as much as I initially assumed.
